About the Team
L3Harris Technologies is seeking Systems Engineers to design, develop, integrate, test, and deliver critical space-based remote sensing systems. This role is part of a team dedicated to advancing space applications through rigorous engineering processes and innovative modeling methodologies.
About the Role
As a Lead Space Systems Engineer, you will serve as a technical leader proficient in all aspects of the systems engineering process. You will have direct and significant experience designing and testing complex space systems while coordinating teams of technical personnel. Your focus will be on supporting the development of concepts of operation, requirements analysis, and the implementation of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) frameworks. You will provide leadership and technical guidance on MBSE practices across the organization, conduct training for engineering staff, and ensure the seamless integration of these practices within space systems projects.

Nice to Have
Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) or similar certification. Experience with SysML (Systems Modeling Language). Prior experience in the aerospace or defense industry. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in space systems.
