In this position, you will serve as a vital link in ensuring the safety and well-being of unaccompanied children and staff. You will be responsible for relaying any concerns regarding safety to Program Directors and providing technical support when reviewing incidents that pose risks to clients in care. Your day-to-day involves maintaining a secure environment by coordinating facility access protocols, monitoring surveillance equipment, and ensuring all records and logs are kept in strict accordance with policies.
You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment, requiring you to maintain emotional control and professional composure at all times. The role demands sensitivity to the cultural and socio-economic characteristics of the service population, as well as the ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively. You will be expected to implement Compass Connections safety protocols, including evacuating with children and staff during emergencies, while adhering to all federal and state regulatory guidelines.
