Key Responsibilities
- check_circleCoordinate scheduling and efforts of Radiology Techs
- check_circlePerform general radiology procedures for patients of all age groups
- check_circleOversee Radiology Department operations in absence of Supervisor
- check_circleAssist radiologists with fluoroscopic examinations
- check_circlePerform billing and charging using hospital computer systems
- check_circlePrioritize workload and maintain a clean and orderly work environment
- check_circleCalibrate equipment and perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting
- check_circleVerify patient identification and ensure correct exam procedures
- check_circleIdentify opportunities to decrease waste in supplies and equipment
- check_circleMaintain communication with radiologists and other departments
- check_circleOrganize, track, stock, and store departmental supplies and equipment
Requirements
- verifiedCompletion of JRCERT approved formal program in Radiologic Technology
- verifiedOne to two years radiology experience with demonstrated leadership skills
- verifiedCurrently Certified and Registered in Radiography R.T. (R)(CRT)
- verifiedCPR certification
Nice to Have
Three years radiology experience with demonstrated leadership skills.
