About the Role
The Welocalize Lead Reviewer serves as the guardian of linguistic quality for a major client account, ensuring that all language deliverables meet the highest standards of accuracy and engagement. This role acts as the critical bridge between the client's linguistic teams and Welocalize's broader linguistic community, driving strategy, quality planning, and continuous improvement.
In this position, you will not only edit and proofread content but also engage in creative writing for marketing materials and storefront descriptions. You will work closely with the Welocalize Quality Department to monitor performance, define quality expectations, and lead root cause analyses to resolve systemic issues. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to client engagement, including direct collaboration with Apple linguistic teams to discuss strategy, clarify requirements, and implement feedback.
Beyond individual contributions, you will coordinate the linguistic team by reviewing work, providing actionable feedback, and managing the assignment of content types. You will also play a key role in talent development by supporting the onboarding of new linguists, evaluating language tests, and creating targeted training programs to address specific locale needs. As a liaison, you will ensure seamless communication between the client, the quality department, and the linguistic workforce, fostering an environment of alignment and high performance.
