This is a highly technical and hands-on position designed for a self-starter who can work independently with little to no supervision. You will lead and participate in multiple team environments, providing independent efforts across all aspects of system integration, including design, analysis, review, testing, implementation, and validation.
In this role, you will recommend optimized solutions to support current and long-range planning, collaborating with project leads to select tools and technologies that improve efficiencies and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and resolving incidents for infrastructure running in Google Cloud and Amazon Web Services, as well as deploying and administering systems within those environments. Your day-to-day will involve supporting and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters and containers, designing requirements-based technical solutions for new projects, and assisting with the transition of designs into production.
You will also evaluate, build, integrate, test, and prepare systems for operational use, ensuring rapid remediation and deployment. This includes installing and rebuilding systems, configuring hardware and storage, and maintaining existing applications by fixing, upgrading, and adding functionality. You will assess applications for deficiencies, keep them current with programming language versions, and perform testing to ensure new features work without regressions. Additionally, you will mentor teammates, provide rapid operational support for production equipment, and support due diligence activities such as site surveys, design reviews, and vendor negotiations.
Candidates selected for a position will undergo a background screening, which may include checks for criminal records, motor vehicle reports, and drug screening, depending on the position requirements. Background results are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
