We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Data Protection and Storage expert to join the Secure Area IT team in Palm Bay, FL. This position will support multiple secure areas across local and national sites.
As the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the team, you will serve as the driver behind storage standards for the Secure Area IT organization. You will provide design consulting services, establish and maintain storage baselines, and coordinate asset management tracking for annual maintenance support renewals. Your work will directly influence the configuration and security standards for storage networks, NAS, hyperconverged platforms, and data protection systems within classified environments. Additionally, you will lead storage expansion and upgrade projects, manage vendor coordination, and provide training opportunities to the team.

Proficiency with Red Hat Linux and/or Windows Server administration, with a Linux administration background preferred. Proficiency with Network setup and configuration, including understanding of ports and protocols (TCP/IP). Understanding of Group Policy and applying Group Policy Objects (GPOs). NetApp or SNIA certification.
