This position serves as a strategic partner to Highmark Inc., focusing on financial and business-related research and analysis. The role is designed to drive decision-making by preparing forecasts, analyzing financial reports, and interpreting complex data trends. You will act as a project lead for special initiatives, guiding them from data gathering through to the generation of actionable reports and recommendations for management.
In this capacity, you will bridge the gap between raw financial data and executive strategy. Your work involves developing and maintaining the spreadsheets and databases that facilitate accurate reporting, while independently solving fundamental problems. You will regularly communicate project status, expected outcomes, and improvement strategies to management across the organization, subsidiaries, and affiliates, ensuring alignment on deadlines and goals.
This is an office-based role with potential travel requirements ranging from 0% to 25% to various work sites. The position requires adherence to strict ethical and legal standards as outlined in the Code of Business Conduct. Given the nature of the data handled, you will have access to covered information and confidential customer data, requiring strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and the company's Information Security Policy.
