This position serves as a vital analytical partner within the finance function, focusing on financial and business research to drive strategic decision-making. The role exists to transform complex financial data into actionable insights that guide organizational performance. You will be responsible for conducting in-depth analysis of financial reports, records, and trends, while developing the forecasts and models necessary to predict future outcomes.
In this capacity, you will act as a project lead for special initiatives, managing the full lifecycle from data gathering and analysis to the documentation of findings and generation of reports. The role requires a high degree of autonomy to independently solve fundamental problems and document recommendations for management. You will frequently present summaries of financial results and trends to leadership at all levels, advising them on expected outcomes and proposing strategies to improve performance.
Your work will involve a dynamic blend of independent analysis and cross-functional collaboration. You will coordinate with various departments, locations, and subsidiaries to ensure projects advance according to established timeframes. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to communicating project status and completion deadlines to management, affiliates, and third parties. You will utilize advanced spreadsheet and database tools to facilitate reporting, while also leveraging mainframe-based systems to compile data into clear graphs and charts. Whether working under pressure or as part of a team, you will be expected to build strong relationships with business units and act proactively to create trust and confidence.
