Field Service Representatives play an impactful role within our organization, serving as the future of Schneider Electric. You will be a problem solver, customer-focused professional passionate about the work you do. This position ensures our organizational department maintains the correct level of Technical Service experience to support all customers at an advanced level of complexity.
While this role does not carry direct management responsibility, you will provide assistance to the Services Manager by coaching, mentoring, and guiding other field associates in the district. You will take on leadership responsibilities in customer interactions and manage key accounts. You will be expected to work independently, using your judgment to solve complex technical problems during start-up, commissioning, and maintenance of Company and third-party manufactured equipment.
You will collaborate with customers, team members, and third-party partners in a variety of dynamic environments. Your work involves performing assembly, startup, diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance. You will develop innovative solutions for complex technical issues, research and recommend new products or upgrades, and produce leads for Service Support. Additionally, you will train customers on equipment features and produce accurate test reports and project summaries.
This is a site-based position with occasional nonstandard hours, where most work occurs at customer sites. You will operate within division policy guidelines, ensuring compliance with all safety policies and procedures while handling multiple tasks simultaneously.

Within your first 180 days, you will experience a unique, team-oriented welcome with 8 weeks of in-person training at our state-of-the-art facility in Dallas, TX, with all expenses paid. Upon returning from training, you will continue with online modules and be paired with a local area mentor for on-the-job training.

High level of technical knowledge of electronic/electrical component theory. Knowledge of HVAC systems and applicable application software. Familiarization in preparing MOPs. Minimum two-year degree or technical certification in an electrical related program. 1 year of exhibited leadership skills among peer group and Role Model behavior in most of the SCOPE values.
