About the Role

We are seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician for our First Quality Home Care Products, LLC facility in Salt Lake City, UT. This role serves as a pivotal link in our manufacturing operations, ensuring department equipment remains in good repair and working order. As a leader within the maintenance team, you will direct and assist mechanics in their daily duties while helping to oversee the preventative maintenance program.

In this position, you will work closely with the department supervisor and Process/Changeover Lead to manage machinery schedules and equipment changes. Your day-to-day involves building or modifying equipment to minimize downtime, troubleshooting problem areas to make sound decisions, and ensuring all mechanics adhere to set-up procedures. You will also maintain accurate equipment records and coordinate with machine builders and the parts room to secure necessary repair components. This role is essential for maintaining the high standards of our hygienic manufacturing environment.
