The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) division is seeking a Lead Electrical Design and Analysis Engineer to join the T-7A Mission Systems Team in Berkeley, MO. As a Lead Engineer on the Mission Systems Hardware team, you will lead a group in completing the development, qualification, and transition to production of multiple Mission Systems hardware components, including mission computing, communications, navigation, surveillance, datalink, and displays.
The T-7A Mission Systems program involves new equipment and the integration of off-the-shelf hardware. This work is rigorously tested in an advanced laboratory and verified through ground and flight tests. Your role will focus on managing the technical performance of the team and key suppliers to ensure the seamless integration and verification of installed system performance. You will guide the team through hardware requirements decomposition, qualification testing, laboratory and aircraft integration, formal verification testing, and production support.

14+ years of systems engineering experience involving system requirements, functional decomposition and allocation, integrated design, analysis and evaluation, verification; Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required); Experience with Advanced Cockpit Displays (Heads Up Display, Up Front Control Display, Large Area Displays) and mission systems avionics equipment; Experience with commercial and military avionics systems; Experience working with suppliers and supply chain management; Proposal development experience; ABET accreditation.
