About the Role
As a Lead at GXO, you will have a starring role in helping us provide exceptional daily solutions for our customers. You will oversee your assigned team and area in the warehouse to ensure our operations continue to run smoothly. This position is designed for those who want to deliver the caliber of service our company requires while fostering a culture of safety and efficiency.
In this role, you will partner with your team to maintain correct inventory levels, ensure orders are completed accurately and on time, and establish exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for training and coaching the warehouse team, providing positive developmental opportunities, and recommending performance improvement actions as needed. Your day will involve interpreting and enforcing company policies and safety procedures, utilizing the warehouse management system, and maintaining a clean environment through the 7S program.

Requirements
- verified2 years of experience in a warehouse environment
- verified1 year of SAP experience
- verifiedExperience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and handheld scanners

Nice to Have
High school diploma or equivalent. Availability to work a flexible schedule including planned and unplanned overtime and weekends. 1 year of experience as a supervisor. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Skills in inventory control and cycle counting.
