About the Role
As a Lead Cook at Independence Village Pella, you will prepare food according to menus, recipes, and planned events for our residents and their guests. This is a rewarding position within an innovative company where hard work pays off and advancement is always a possibility. You will play a vital role in promoting positive public relations and ensuring a safe, secure environment that upholds the privacy, dignity, and well-being of all residents.
In this full-time role (10am-6pm), you will work in a collaborative team environment where you are expected to maintain a positive attitude and support your colleagues. You will ensure that food is fresh, properly seasoned, and plated according to portion guidelines while managing kitchen stations and adhering to strict safety and sanitation protocols. Your work directly contributes to our philosophy of making every interaction exceptional.

Requirements
- verifiedHigh School diploma (or equivalent) or technical school
