About the Role
Integrity Technical Services, Inc. is recruiting a Lead CNC Machinist for a premier manufacturing firm on the east side of Cleveland. In this full-time, permanent position, you will oversee the setup and operation of CNC milling machines, ensuring the highest quality standards for small-part manufacturing. This role is designed for a technical leader who can guide entry-level staff while maintaining precision in micro-manufacturing environments.
Day in the Life
As the Lead Machinist, your day involves performing complex setups and operating CNC milling machines with high precision. You will interpret intricate technical drawings and blueprints to ensure exact specifications are met. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to quality control, utilizing optical comparators and microscopes to perform detailed inspections on micro-sized parts. You will also leverage your understanding of G-code/M-code to troubleshoot and optimize runs.
Beyond technical execution, you will provide technical leadership by mentoring entry-level staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and safety. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for reporting and inter-departmental collaboration.
Shift Details
This position is available for both 1st shift and 2nd shift. The 2nd shift hours are Monday through Thursday, from 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM.
Hiring Process & Requirements
Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in CNC Milling (Setup and Operation). A High School Diploma or GED is required, with CNC Machinist training or certification preferred.
