About the Role
As a Technical Consultant and Supervisor, you will serve as a direct leader for laboratory personnel and manage the performance of all laboratory testing. This role is designed to ensure the laboratory meets all accreditation requirements and applicable OSHA standards while serving as a resource medical technologist in your assigned section. You will develop and maintain policies, standards, and quality control practices, overseeing lab safety and maintenance. The position requires acting as a liaison to other departments of the medical center for the appropriate laboratory specialty and evaluating new developments in instrumentation, procedures, reagents, and automation for possible implementation.
Hiring Incentives
Up to $20,000 hiring incentive and $5,000 relocation are available for eligible rehires and external hires who meet the required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Adventist Health is looking for candidates who meet the following requirements: Bachelor's Degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, biological sciences, chemical sciences or allied health technologies or equivalent; Valid Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license in state of employment; Current certification from American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or National Credentialing Agency for Labs (NCA) preferred; Five years' clinical laboratory experience preferred; and Two years' leadership experience preferred.
