About the Role

This position serves as a technical consultant and direct supervisor of laboratory personnel, managing the performance of all laboratory testing within our 25-bed critical access hospital. You will develop and maintain policies, standards, and quality control practices while overseeing lab safety and maintenance. As a resource medical technologist in your assigned section, you hold the responsibility and authority to ensure the laboratory meets all accreditation requirements and applicable OSHA standards. You will act as a liaison to other departments of the medical center for the appropriate laboratory specialty, evaluating new developments in instrumentation and procedures for possible implementation.
