About the Role

As a Lead Project Engineer, you will partner with the Director of Operations to manage a diverse portfolio of commercial projects. This role exists to ensure projects are executed efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. You will oversee a team responsible for a wide range of tasks, including wood and metal stud framing, drywall installation, painting, fixture replacements, concrete and masonry repairs, facade work, ceiling installations, pressure washing, line striping, and flooring.

Your day will involve reviewing scopes of work, keeping projects on track, and providing direct support and training to team members and direct labor. While you will lead the team, you will also actively participate in basic carpentry and painting tasks, such as cutting, measuring, and fitting materials. This position requires a blend of leadership, hands-on technical skill, and the ability to adapt to various environments, from indoor sites to outdoor construction zones.

Hiring Process

The role is full-time and non-exempt, with typical shifts running from 6 AM to 3 PM or 7 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday. Some evening or weekend work may be required, but will be provided with notice.
