The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) serves as a vital member of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to reducing distress and improving the mental health of underserved populations. This role focuses on patients presenting with complex medical and psycho-social challenges, including anxiety, depression, chronic pain, addiction, and personality disorders.
You will work alongside medical providers, nurses, case managers, and front office staff to deliver comprehensive care. Your day involves conducting assessments, providing short-term and crisis counseling, and developing individualized treatment plans. Beyond direct clinical care, you will act as a liaison between Kedren Community Clinic and the broader community to integrate services and enhance relationships through public relations activities.
Kedren Community Clinic is committed to serving vulnerable populations, including the homeless, those with mental illness, and individuals struggling with substance addiction. In this capacity, you will not only treat symptoms but also coordinate care across various systems, including the Department of Public Social Services, the Department of Child and Family Services, the Social Security Administration, and the Judiciary.
