About the Role
Based at The Westin Maui Resort & Spa in Ka'anapali, this Part Time Housekeeping & Laundry position is a vital part of our operations. You will operate and monitor washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and care for our linens and guest items. Your day will involve identifying stained or damaged items, determining their status for repair or treatment, and meticulously inspecting articles before placing them in clean linen carts.
Beyond the technical tasks of setting temperatures and folding items, this role is about maintaining a safe and efficient environment. You will follow all company safety and security policies, report any unsafe conditions, and maintain accurate records of items laundered. Success in this role requires developing positive working relationships with the team, supporting common goals, and visually inspecting tools and equipment to ensure they are defect-free. Whether moving through confined spaces or managing heavy loads, you will contribute to the organizational efficiency and quality that defines our guest experience.
