As a Laundry and Valet Attendant, you will be the backbone of our guest service operations, ensuring that linens, uniforms, and clothing are handled with the utmost care and professionalism. Your role involves receiving, documenting, and separating soiled items, identifying stains or damage, and operating washing and drying machinery. You will apply specialized treatments to stains, press and fold cleaned articles, and handle hand-washing requests. Additionally, you will respond to guest inquiries regarding laundry and dry cleaning services, perform minor repairs, and deliver cleaned items to guests and employees.
Beyond technical duties, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of laundered items and distributed uniforms. You must adhere to all company safety, security, and quality standards, reporting any hazards or maintenance issues immediately. Your professional appearance and conduct will reflect the company's commitment to excellence, while you foster positive relationships with colleagues and guests through clear communication and genuine appreciation.
This role requires the ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights. You will frequently reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. The position involves moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, and placing objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance. You must be prepared to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods throughout your shift.
To succeed in this position, a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required. We welcome candidates with less than one year of related work experience; no prior supervisory experience or specific licenses are necessary.
