About the Role
This position is dedicated to maintaining assigned areas in a clean, sanitary, safe, orderly, and attractive manner. The role exists to ensure the highest degree of cleanliness and sanitation is maintained at all times in accordance with established procedures and as directed by the supervisor. You will work in concert with admissions to ensure incoming residents' rooms are prepared for move-in, while also assisting with general housekeeping duties for resident rooms and common areas as needed.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleReturn all laundry to the appropriate person and location
- check_circleSubmit maintenance work orders for general concerns to the Maintenance Director
- check_circleReport unsafe conditions and needed repairs to the supervisor
- check_circlePerform housekeeping duties in resident rooms and common areas as directed
- check_circleProvide inventory of chemicals, supplies, and linens as required
- check_circleLog water or heat temperatures as requested
- check_circleMaintain janitor closets and laundry supply rooms in a clean and orderly manner
- check_circleFollow laundry schedules and instructions for resident and departmental items
- check_circleEnsure residents' personal laundry is laundered separately and labeled appropriately
- check_circleAssist with folding, hanging, and ironing of resident or departmental laundry items
- check_circleCoordinate with admissions to ensure incoming resident rooms are cleaned and ready
- check_circleFollow soiled and clean laundry protocols and infection control policies
