As a Launch Industrial Engineer at General Assembly, you will serve as a critical bridge between design and execution on the shop floor. Working closely with Workstation Designers, your mission is to engineer operator-friendly workstations that enable the production of high-quality vehicles with maximum efficiency. You will be instrumental in orchestrating vertical launches for all new programs, ensuring that production systems and Workplace Integration (WPI) are understood and implemented comprehensively.
Your day-to-day involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and Station Designers to design, layout, and optimize workstations in preparation for new program launches. A key part of your impact will be executing man-assignments and line balancing using efficient approaches that minimize station rearrangements and reduce disruptions to existing production systems. By partnering with the WPI Team, you will piece together various aspects of a new program launch to deliver a seamless vertical launch.
We believe in supporting you inside and outside of work. Our benefits are designed with your well-being and growth in mind, starting from your very first day. You will have access to comprehensive health coverage, including medical, dental, vision, and prescription drugs, ensuring you and your family stay protected.
We prioritize work-life balance with generous paid time off, including over 17 paid holidays, shutdown periods from December 24th through New Year's Day, vacation, float days, and fully paid parental leave. For your future, we offer competitive retirement savings plans with employer matches and contributions, alongside income protection through disability and life insurance.
Our commitment extends to your personal life and growth. Eligible employees can enjoy a company vehicle lease program with included insurance and maintenance, plus exclusive discounts on Stellantis products.
