About the Role
As a Launch Industrial Engineer at General Assembly, you will partner closely with Workstation Designers to craft operator-friendly workstations on the shop floor. Your mission is to enable the production of high-quality vehicles with maximum efficiency. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve successful vertical launches for all new programs, ensuring a seamless integration of production systems and Workplace Integration (WPI) principles.
In this role, you will master man-assignments and line balancing to optimize efficiency, minimizing station rearrangements and reducing disruptions to existing production systems. You will work directly with Station Designers to design, layout, and optimize workstations for General Assembly Shops in preparation for new program launches within a specified assembly plant. Additionally, you will coordinate with the WPI Team to align various aspects of a new program launch, delivering a cohesive vertical launch experience.
