The Analyst I position at Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) in Buffalo, NY, is designed for individuals ready to launch or advance a rewarding career in analytical testing. This role is critical to our mission of ensuring the safety and integrity of environmental samples. You will prepare and analyze samples using standard analytical techniques in strict compliance with scientific and EPA methodologies, as well as Eurofins Quality Assurance programs and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
In this role, you will work under close supervision using routine and standard methods to perform essential lab tasks. Your day-to-day activities will include preparing samples, conducting chemical analyses, calculating data, and recording results. You will also be responsible for routine instrument maintenance, general housekeeping, and ensuring all activities are performed in a safe and efficient manner. As you grow, you will have the opportunity to become trained and competent on complex instrumentation, including gas chromatography, gas chromatography/mass spectrometry, atomic absorption, and ICP.
We are looking for team players who can work independently following written or verbal instructions, manage their time effectively, and coordinate with others both orally and in writing. This is a full-time opportunity with a schedule of Sunday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Candidates must live within a commutable distance to Buffalo, NY.
