Nuclear Manufacturing plays a critical role in the healthcare ecosystem by producing time-sensitive radiopharmaceuticals within an integrity-driven, highly regulated environment. Our work directly supports patient treatment through disease diagnosis, staging, and monitoring. The facility operates a cyclotron and associated manufacturing unit dedicated to the production of PET radiopharmaceuticals, maintaining a clean, orderly, and optimally functioning workspace.
Employees in this role handle radioactive materials under conditions deemed safe by current standards, with exposure levels strictly monitored and kept within regulatory guidelines. The facility is subject to rigorous oversight by State and Federal agencies, including the FDA, NRC, and DOT, and is enforced by a corporate internal quality and regulatory group. Staff members receive specific training on radiation safety and are routinely monitored for exposure. The work environment features low to moderate noise levels and requires adherence to strict ISO cleanliness standards (ISO 5, 7, and 8) to ensure product integrity.
