About the Role
The Kitchen Supervisor at The Crescent Hotel Fort Worth is a pivotal leadership position within the Food & Beverage Operations department. In this luxury hospitality setting, you will oversee daily back-of-house activities to ensure our reputation for top-tier guest experiences is upheld. This role is designed to bridge the gap between operational efficiency and culinary excellence, ensuring consistent food quality, presentation, and sanitation standards across all meal periods.
You will serve as the backbone of the kitchen, leading and scheduling staff while coordinating complex prep and service workflows. Working closely with Front of House and banquet teams, your focus will be on driving seamless service, minimizing waste, and fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture dedicated to continuous improvement. From managing inventory and ordering to enforcing strict safety and HACCP guidelines, you will be instrumental in maintaining the operational integrity of our kitchen.
The Day-to-Day
Your day will be a dynamic blend of leadership and hands-on management. You will supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring that every dish meets our rigorous quality and presentation standards. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to staff development, including leading training sessions, managing schedules to maintain efficient coverage, and providing onboarding and performance feedback to culinary team members.
You will also act as the guardian of safety and compliance, monitoring food safety protocols, temperature controls, and sanitation procedures at all times. Beyond the kitchen floor, you will manage inventory and product rotation to control costs, coordinate with vendors for receiving, and promptly address any equipment or maintenance concerns. Your ability to support menu execution and station organization for each shift will be crucial in delivering a flawless guest experience.
