About the Role

As a Kindergarten Teacher, you will facilitate student comprehension and application of concepts, skills, and behaviors that contribute to the development of mature, responsible members of society. Your mission is to ensure continuous improvement in performance levels to prepare students for college and careers.

In this role, you will implement 21st-century skills into the curriculum and plan a variety of instruction strategies compatible with the physical facility while serving the unique needs of young learners. You will manage classroom behavior to create a conducive learning environment and actively communicate with students and parents regarding progress and expectations. Beyond the classroom, you will participate in professional growth activities, collaborate on instructional goals, and assist in documenting student progress. You will also serve as a family advocate, maintaining effective relationships with students, parents, and peers, and participating in home visits and IEP meetings.
