Peak Legacy Ranch is a small, family-owned business located on 40 acres in Peyton, CO, just 21 miles east of Colorado Springs. For over 50 years, the family has been committed to providing healthy, adorable puppies and supplies to the Colorado Springs community and surrounding areas. We pride ourselves on our dedication to animal welfare, the high quality of our puppies, and the elevated experience we provide to our customers.
Our kennel team is the heart of our operation, caring for puppies sourced from select breeders. We are looking for fast-learning, motivated, and energetic individuals who love dogs to join our family. Whether you have a background in pet-sitting, dog boarding, walking, or janitorial work, or simply have a passion for animals, you might be the perfect fit for our mission.
As a member of our kennel team, you will play a vital role in the daily care and well-being of our puppies. Your day will involve feeding and watering animals, cleaning kennels and enclosures, and monitoring the health of our residents. You will also have the opportunity to engage in the training and socialization of puppies, ensuring they grow up happy and healthy.
This role requires a hands-on approach in a fast-paced, manual labor environment. You will need to be organized, attentive to detail, and capable of following directions and checklists accurately. The position involves physical activity, including bending, twisting, squatting, and lifting 40+ lbs, as well as working safely in a dynamic setting.
We are excited to offer employment opportunities to our local community. If you are reliable, have reliable transportation, and are available to work weekends and flexible hours (including at least one a.m. shift starting at 6:30 am and one p.m. shift staying as late as 8:30 pm), we encourage you to apply.
Peak Legacy Ranch is an equal opportunity employer. We value diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
