Trulioo is the global front-runner in digital identity verification, redefining how businesses grow, innovate, and comply online. Our award-winning platform enables organizations worldwide to quickly onboard customers, optimize costs, and combat fraud. We verify more than 5 billion people and 700 million business entities spanning 195 countries.
Headquartered in Vancouver with strategic hubs in San Diego and Dublin, we foster a culture of collaboration and open communication. We are a united force of dedicated experts committed to establishing trust online, recognized as a BC Top Employer for the second consecutive year for our inclusive, collaborative, and people-first workplace.
Our offices support a hybrid model where staff typically work three days per week at a hub location. We offer weekly lunches, quality coffee, regular social events, and amenities like parent rooms and on-site gyms to support comfort and productivity. We also provide wellness workshops, events, and a complimentary Headspace subscription to help team members stay focused and grounded.
As a Junior Data Platform Engineer, you will be a catalyst for change, contributing to the development of systems that support person and business verification services. This role is designed for someone eager to grow their skills in building data pipelines, modeling complex information, and applying machine learning to improve data quality and search systems.
You will collaborate with experienced engineers and data scientists, gaining hands-on experience across relational databases, NoSQL, and vector-based search technologies. This is an opportunity to learn modern data engineering practices while tackling data challenges and exploring open-source tools. If you are excited to grow into a well-rounded data engineer within a team that values mentorship and continuous improvement, we would love to meet you.
At Trulioo, you are a valued member of our Trulicrew on a journey of professional and personal growth. We empower our team with trust, autonomy, and the freedom to cultivate their potential. Your curiosity, meticulous attention to detail, and passion to contribute are highly valued as we shape a future where technology and digital identity verification open the global economy to everyone.
We are committed to creating a more equitable, inclusive, and diverse company. Research has shown that minorities and underrepresented groups often only apply when they feel 100% qualified; however, if you don't see yourself fully reflected in every job requirement listed, we still encourage you to reach out and apply. We strongly encourage applicants of all genders, ages, ethnicities, cultures, abilities, sexual orientations, and life experiences to apply.
Trulioo welcomes applications from people with disabilities. Support is available upon request for candidates taking part in all aspects of the selection process. We understand that emergencies happen and encourage you to communicate if you need to reschedule an interview without worrying about losing the opportunity.
