CGI is one of the largest IT and business consulting services firms in the world. Our culture is rooted in ownership, teamwork, respect, and belonging. We call ourselves CGI Partners rather than employees because we invite you to be an owner from day one. Together, we work to bring our vision to life, benefiting from our collective success while actively shaping the company's strategy and direction.
In this role, you will join a dynamic environment where your work creates value. You will develop innovative solutions, build relationships with teammates and clients, and access global capabilities to scale your ideas. Our leaders are committed to your health and well-being, providing opportunities to deepen your skills and broaden your horizons as you grow your career within a company built to last.
Launch your cybersecurity career as a Junior Cybersecurity Specialist supporting the protection and resilience of enterprise systems. This position is designed for early-career professionals eager to grow, contribute to real-world security operations, and develop foundational skills under the mentorship of experienced practitioners.
You will focus on learning, analysis, and supporting day-to-day security operations. Specialists will learn and apply modern security practices, gaining hands-on experience with industry-standard tools while supporting security monitoring, vulnerability management, and compliance activities. This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with IT, development, and operations teams to promote secure practices within DevSecOps and CI/CD workflows.
While this position is located in our Lafayette, Louisiana, or Knoxville, Tennessee offices, a hybrid working model is acceptable. Please note that due to the nature of government contracts, US citizenship is required for this role.
All offers of employment in the U.S. are contingent upon the ability to successfully complete a background investigation. Components of this investigation can vary depending on the specific assignment and the level of US government security clearance held. Depending on the role and clearance requirements, some background investigations may include a credit check.
