We empower these teams and their clients by developing impactful investment recommendations that drive decision-making in the high-yield sector. The High Yield Technology & Telecom team is a dynamic group dedicated to navigating the complexities of the US capital markets, with a specific focus on fixed income instruments.
As a Credit Research Analyst, you will become an integral member of this high-performing team. Your primary mission is to support the team's investment thesis through rigorous modeling, analysis, and primary research. This role is designed for individuals who possess a deep curiosity for research and a passion for understanding the nuances of the industry.
In this position, you will not only assemble historical financial models using SEC filings, conference calls, and press releases but also conduct comprehensive financial, statistical, and industry analysis. You will be expected to stay ahead of the curve by researching sector trends and news that could impact company or sector recommendations. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to crafting high-quality written content, ranging from short notes to lengthy industry Primers and sections of daily, weekly, or monthly reports.
Beyond the desk, you will play a key role in building relationships with institutional clients and internal stakeholders. This requires a client-service orientation and the ability to operate effectively within a fast-paced trading floor environment. You will need to exercise strong judgment and business sense while maintaining a high level of quality control over your work.
