About the Role
As a Fire Sprinkler Journeyman, you will be a skilled tradesperson responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems. This role is vital to ensuring that fire protection systems are operational and compliant with all regulatory requirements. You will work closely with other professionals to complete projects safely, efficiently, and on time.
Your day-to-day involves interpreting technical drawings and blueprints to plan system layouts, measuring and cutting pipe to specifications, and diagnosing issues with malfunctioning systems. You will drive company vehicles, inspect tools and lifts, and adhere to strict safety guidelines to prevent accidents on the job site. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, though it may require overnight travel and extended stays outside your local area.
Hiring Process
Applicants with a High School diploma or GED and at least 4 years of experience in the Fire Sprinkler field are encouraged to apply. DOL Journeyman status is preferred. We look for team-oriented individuals with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation who can adapt to a flexible work schedule.
