About the Role
We are seeking a safety-first, analytical, and experienced electrician to join our team. In this role, you will manage a variety of work orders, including fixing, replacing, installing, maintaining, and testing electrical wiring, circuit breakers, transformers, and lighting fixtures in buildings. You will be responsible for inspecting and troubleshooting electrical systems, analyzing motor and control systems, and executing preventive maintenance activities.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable reading technical schematics, blueprints, and diagrams, while utilizing threaders, pipe benders, and tuggers to install and program VFDs, soft starts, and panelboards. This is a safety-sensitive position that requires strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to resolve complex electrical issues.
While the majority of the work is local, this position requires travel up to 50% of the time to manage service calls for industrial and commercial customers. Your proficiency is expected to grow with your accumulated experience as you take on new challenges.
