The Data Architecture, Technology, and Analytics (DATA) section within the Federal Reserve Board's Division of Research & Statistics (R&S) is tasked with transforming how the organization ingests, organizes, uses, and visualizes data. The team supports economists and technical experts by ensuring optimal data delivery architecture is designed and developed. The DATA section is looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Data Architect/Engineer to expand and optimize data and pipeline architecture, as well as optimize data flow and collection for economic policy and research teams.
This role is designed for a hands-on data modeler who enjoys improving existing data systems or building them from the ground up. You will be responsible for optimizing or even re-designing the R&S division's data architecture to support the next generation of data initiatives. The ideal candidate possesses a service mindset, is self-directed, and is comfortable supporting the data needs of multiple teams and systems. You will work closely with economists and technical experts to ensure data is effectively utilized for economic policy and research.
This is a multi-year contract position located in Washington, DC, requiring onsite presence. Candidates must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance. The position is open to W2 and C2C applicants.
