About the Role
This position offers a unique opportunity to work alongside our highly skilled and talented internal team. Your experience will provide key insights into what helps you stand out in a competitive job market. You will serve as the primary liaison for SAP BASIS administration, working closely with SMUD analysts and technical teams to ensure system availability and performance. The role involves leading major enterprise application support, from troubleshooting system issues to coordinating complex upgrades and disaster recovery planning. As a partner company, we seek consultants with excellent communication skills who can effectively interface with business units and application users.

Key Responsibilities

- check_circleTroubleshoot and resolve system issues as the primary point of contact

- check_circleConfigure systems and applications technically to ensure alignment with standards
- check_circleDevelop and maintain documentation for SAP system administration and architecture
- check_circlePerform system sizing and capacity planning for enterprise resources
- check_circleParticipate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and documentation
- check_circleCoordinate application support with security, network, and operations teams
- check_circleConfigure, maintain, and monitor batch jobs and scripts to resolve errors

Requirements

Nice to Have
Current SAP certifications related to the systems outlined in the scope of work. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field from an accredited institution, or equivalent experience. Deep knowledge of SAP cloud offerings, Hyperscaling and Hyperscalers. Proficiency in SAP system refresh processes (native SAP and tools such as LAMA, SAP PCA Add-on). Administration experience for NetWeaver Java Stack solutions (Adobe Document Services, Process Orchestration, System Landscape Directory). Experience with SAP change management (CTS+, non-ABAP and cloud solutions). SAP system administration in DB2/AIX, RHEL environments.
