This is a field-based, business development-driven sales role focused on janitorial, sanitation, and facility supply customers. You will serve as the primary point of contact for commercial, industrial, and institutional clients, acting as a trusted advisor rather than just a vendor.
In this position, you will actively prospect new business through cold calling, referrals, and lead follow-up. Your day will involve conducting on-site visits to assess customer needs, recommending products and cost-saving solutions, and closing new accounts. You will manage and grow a book of business by developing long-term relationships, coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth order management and delivery, and staying organized while balancing prospecting, quoting, and follow-ups to hit sales targets.
This role requires significant time in the field, not behind a desk. You will need to be comfortable hunting for new business and possess the physical ability to meet the demands of the role, including lifting up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
