As an IT Support Specialist, you will join one of the fastest-growing Hispanic multi-media companies to ensure proper computer operations so that end users can accomplish organizational tasks. This role is vital for maintaining the seamless flow of technology that powers our diverse user base.
You will serve as the primary point of contact for end users, receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and actively resolving help requests via telephone and work orders. Your day will involve building rapport with customers to elicit detailed problem descriptions, applying diagnostic utilities, and performing hands-on fixes at the desktop level. From installing and upgrading software to configuring systems and implementing file backups, you will ensure that hardware and software are optimized for maximum productivity.
Beyond immediate troubleshooting, you will contribute to the team's long-term efficiency by developing help sheets and knowledge base articles, testing software compatibility, and assisting with the administration of servers, network equipment, and VoIP systems. You will work autonomously as a self-starter while collaborating within a team environment to support a dynamic, multicultural organization.
Candidates selected for this role will report directly to the IT Manager. The interview process will assess technical capability, strategic thinking, and effective communication skills to ensure a strong fit with our team culture.

AA degree or higher in Information Systems or a related major, or equivalent certifications. Experience with Macintosh systems (Mac OSX). Experience troubleshooting and maintaining telephony systems. Experience maintaining local and wide area network hardware.
