About the Role

The IT Service Desk Specialist III serves as the primary contact point for users requiring technical assistance with hardware, software, and systems. This role is designed to resolve moderate to highly complex technical issues via phone, email, or chat, ensuring quick resolution and excellent customer service.

In this position, you will act as the escalation path for complex problems, performing system administrator-level duties including server administration, security patching, and enterprise system support. You will maintain accurate Government asset inventories and manage ServiceNow tickets, while also supporting call overflow during peak times or reduced staff hours. The role requires balancing routine troubleshooting of PCs, laptops, and printers with the management of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and service catalogs.
