ECLARO is partnering with one of the largest mutual life insurance companies in the United States to find a strategic IT Portfolio Manager. This client provides essential long-term care insurance, mutual funds, and retirement-plan services across the nation. The role offers a chance to join a core enterprise technology team that supports the organization's Strategic Businesses, reporting directly to the Head of IT Operations.
The Role
This position is designed for a motivated professional ready to shape, govern, and optimize the enterprise technology portfolio in alignment with the company's strategic roadmap. You will partner closely with line of business CIOs to drive Technology, Data, and AI investment decisions, ensuring initiatives are prioritized, funded, and executed to deliver measurable business impact.
The focus extends beyond hands-on delivery management; it requires an enterprise mindset to engage senior technology and business leaders. You will balance competing priorities across diverse insurance businesses, identifying opportunities to drive synergies and scale. Key areas of influence include AI enablement, data strategy, platform modernization, cybersecurity, and operating model transformation. Your goal is to maximize business value, enhance operational efficiency, and improve customer outcomes while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
