The IT Network Administrator serves as the primary technical resource for PermiaCare's network infrastructure, ensuring the operational reliability of our critical systems. In this role, you will manage wired and wireless networks, firewalls, and connectivity systems that support our healthcare operations. You will act as the main point of contact for Internet Service Providers, coordinating outages and service changes to minimize disruption to our programs.
This position is unique in its blend of office-based infrastructure management and field responsibilities. You will work independently to maintain network performance while collaborating with the IT team on VOIP, surveillance, and physical access control technologies. The role requires a flexible schedule and involves travel to various agency program sites, community locations, and residential facilities. You will also support end-users with PC hardware and software issues, ensuring that our staff and clients have the reliable technology they need to succeed.
Candidates selected for this position will be required to pass a criminal history and background check, as well as a pre-employment drug screen. A valid Texas Driver's license, auto liability insurance, and an acceptable driving record are mandatory prerequisites for the role.
