About the Role
This position serves as a critical support pillar within a GxP-compliant environment, bridging the gap between IT infrastructure and laboratory operations. You will be responsible for the administration, support, and enhancement of benchtop instrumentation applications, PC hardware, and IT administrative tools across both laboratory and manufacturing areas.
The role encompasses a wide variety of instrument types, including cellometers, plate readers, and flow cytometers. You will act as a liaison between technical operations, quality assurance, and project managers, ensuring that all systems maintain their validated state. This involves coordinating the software development life cycle for quality and laboratory applications, managing equipment configurations, and collaborating with vendors to draft specification documentation.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleCoordinate and lead administration of quality and laboratory applications including software development life cycle activities
- check_circleReview and approve validation lifecycle documents as part of CSV activities and risk assessments
- check_circleInteract with ServiceNow to review and approve digital changes
- check_circleEnsure Benchtop IT and Lab Systems SOPs and procedural methodologies are regularly reviewed and updated
- check_circleAssist in developing validation methodologies in collaboration with Operations Management and Quality Assurance
- check_circlePerform PC build and configuration including network connection, user permissions, and data backup setup
- check_circleConfigure existing and new equipment instrumentation while collaborating with vendors and drafting specifications
Requirements
- verifiedBS degree in life sciences, engineering, or computer field or equivalent experience
- verifiedMinimum of 2 years of experience in regulated industries (Biotech, Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices)
- verifiedExperience supporting benchtop instruments and applications in a GxP compliant setting
- verifiedKnowledge of Data Integrity, GxP compliance, SDLC, and Good Documentation Practices (GDocP)
- verifiedComprehensive knowledge of SOPs, cGMPs, FDA, and EU regulatory guidelines
- verifiedUnderstanding of network, databases, servers, and PCs
- verifiedPreferred: Waters NuGenesis, FCS Express, Veeva, Infinity, ServiceNow
