The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) is recruiting for an IT Infrastructure & Operations Bureau Chief. This pivotal leadership position oversees all three tiers of Infrastructure and Operational support for the agency. The role serves as a strategic liaison between MDT and SITSD technical staff, reporting directly to the MDT ISD Division Administrator and supervising two section supervisors.
The Bureau Chief is responsible for developing and enforcing strategic plans, policies, and procedures for all program functions while managing the agency's infrastructure portfolio and hardware/software asset needs. The scope of leadership covers:
