The role involves overseeing the installation, configuration, and upgrading of systems, applications, and peripherals while developing and maintaining documentation for IT processes. You will monitor the help desk ticketing system to ensure timely responses and assist in IT projects including installations, upgrades, and migrations. The position requires staying up-to-date with the latest technologies to efficiently support users and enhance systems.
The IT Help Desk Technician II works primarily in an office environment, supporting a range of users, though travel to other locations may be necessary to provide on-site support. Standard office hours are standard, with occasional off-hours support required during major incidents or system upgrades. The role may require occasional lifting of equipment up to 50 pounds.
