Key Responsibilities
- check_circleOversee end-to-end accounting for inventory, cost of goods sold, and margin analysis
- check_circleInvestigate and explain significant variances between budgeted and actual margins to management
- check_circlePrepare and review monthly reconciliations for inventory accounts across global operating territories
- check_circleAnalyze cost drivers between standard and actual costs to improve cost accuracy
- check_circlePartner with Product and Sales Managers to establish accurate standard product costs
- check_circleDevelop and deliver reporting on major cost components to enable informed business decisions
- check_circleBuild and manage SOX-compliant internal controls for financial reporting
- check_circleAct as primary finance liaison for physical inventory counts and cycle count investigations
- check_circleAssist in preparing documentation for internal and external auditors regarding inventory controls
- check_circleCollaborate with IT to automate accounting processes and assist with ERP cost testing
- check_circlePrepare and review monthly journal entries for inventory movement, accruals, and capitalization
- check_circleEnsure inventory valuation and reserves comply with US GAAP during monthly financial close
Requirements
