About the Role
The International Flight Clearance Supervisor serves as a critical leader within the Flight Operations Support department, guiding the team of International Flight Clearance Coordinators and Operations Assistants. Reporting directly to the Manager of International Flight Clearance, this position ensures the integrity of global flight operations by overseeing the accuracy of permit information and flight data.
In this role, you will act as a bridge between operational execution and strategic routing decisions. You will support the Manager in navigating complex international political landscapes and hostilities to determine proper flight routing. Additionally, you will maintain route databases and ensure seamless information flow between the flight following department and the clearance team. When staffing demands arise, you will step in to man the coordinator or assistant desks, ensuring continuous operational coverage.
