About the Role
The Internal Regional Consultant (IRC) serves as a strategic partner to External Sales Executives, driving new business and deepening advisor relationships within a defined VRPA territory. This role is designed to execute territory strategy, advance opportunities through the sales pipeline, and deliver Vanguard's value proposition to advisors and plan sponsors.
IRCs develop deep expertise in retirement plans and institutional sales while managing a book of business that balances prospecting, opportunity follow-up, and relationship management. The position acts as a key talent pipeline for advanced sales and leadership roles across the Investment Management Group (IIG), offering a clear path to senior internal sales, external sales partnerships, and people leadership opportunities.
