About the Role

As the Program Director, you will lead our Internal Medicine Residency Program with a focus on excellence in whole-person patient care and scholarly activity. This role is unique in its opportunity to shape the curriculum, mentor residents, and foster a psychologically safe learning environment where feedback is encouraged without fear of retaliation.

You will ensure the program's continuing accreditation by adhering to ACGME, Joint Commission, and state requirements, while developing a comprehensive curriculum that reflects specialty-specific competencies. Your day-to-day will involve recruiting and retaining a high-caliber resident body, mentoring teaching faculty, and managing the program's financial stewardship to ensure adequate resources for education and scholarly pursuits. You will also serve as a key liaison between our institution and community-based or academic teaching partners to coordinate faculty development and training.
