Mission Pet Health is dedicated to transforming veterinary care through innovation, collaboration, and a deep commitment to the well-being of pets. Our mission is to provide exceptional, compassionate healthcare at scale, ensuring that every animal receives the best possible treatment while supporting the professionals who care for them.
As the Regional Medical Director for Los Angeles and Las Vegas, you will serve as the primary medical leader for our growing network of veterinary hospitals. This highly visible leadership role sits at the intersection of clinical excellence and operational strategy. You will partner closely with hospital medical directors, practice managers, and cross-functional teams to ensure that our standards of care are not only met but exceeded.
In this position, you will provide hands-on clinical leadership and mentorship, modeling evidence-based medicine to advance the quality of care across the region. Your day-to-day involves developing and refining medical protocols, championing best practices in areas ranging from preventive care to surgery, and ensuring strict compliance with all regulatory standards. You will routinely visit hospitals in both regions, building trust-based relationships with local teams and aligning each practice with our vision of innovative, compassionate pet healthcare.
Beyond clinical oversight, you will drive medical and operational performance by analyzing metrics, identifying trends, and working with hospital leaders to improve outcomes, client satisfaction, and practice growth. You will play a key role in recruiting and retaining top veterinary talent, fostering a culture where medical professionals are empowered to grow and innovate. This role requires balancing time between strategic leadership and clinical engagement, navigating a fast-growing organization with clear, direct communication.
Aligned with our innovative and pet-focused culture, this role champions continuous learning and cross-hospital collaboration. You will design medical training initiatives and case review rounds tailored to our teams, encouraging the thoughtful adoption of new technologies and treatments that elevate the client experience. We believe in a practical, evidence-based approach that supports hospital teams day-to-day while pushing the boundaries of what is possible in veterinary medicine.
We are looking for a seasoned veterinarian and leader who is energized by building high-performing teams. The ideal candidate brings sound clinical judgment, strong business acumen, and a deep passion for improving the quality of life for pets and their families. This position requires regular travel between hospitals in Los Angeles and Las Vegas, with a mix of on-site presence and remote collaboration.
