About the Role
As an Internal Auditor II, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the organization's integrity by assisting in the development and execution of audit plans and risk identification. This position is designed for a professional who thrives in a dynamic environment, leading and managing projects through planning, fieldwork, and reporting phases. You will coordinate schedules, allocate resources, and manage the execution of audits and project reviews in collaboration with audit clients, site, regional, and global managers.
In this role, you will not only execute individual audit projects but also champion internal control and corporate governance concepts throughout the business. You will be responsible for establishing clear project plans, monitoring fieldwork progress, and resolving issues by escalating them appropriately to management. A key part of your day-to-day involves creating detailed work papers, preparing audit reports, and engaging with clients to discuss findings and obtain timely feedback. You will also assist in the development of the annual audit plan and help elevate emerging business control issues to Internal Audit Management.
Location and Travel
This role is based on-site at our St. Petersburg, FL Corporate Headquarters. The position requires up to 25% domestic travel as needed, with the ability to travel internationally. For the right talent seeking to relocate outside the local area, a relocation stipend is approved.
