Our client, a global organization with an active acquisition strategy, is seeking an Interim Finance Systems Senior Staff Accountant to support critical finance systems integration and shared services initiatives. This role is designed to bridge the gap during periods of rapid change, ensuring seamless transitions for newly acquired entities into shared services operations.
In this 3-4 month interim position (with potential for extension or conversion), you will operate at the intersection of finance and technology. You will partner cross-functionally with finance and IT teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system and process issues as the organization navigates complex business integrations. The work involves deep discovery of business models, customers, and suppliers to inform ERP and finance systems transformation initiatives. You will be responsible for developing and executing user acceptance testing (UAT) plans, preparing shared services teams for post-integration operations, and identifying opportunities to extend support to non-integrated entities where full system integration is not yet complete.
This is a dynamic, project-based environment where priorities may shift. Success requires the ability to navigate ambiguity, manage multiple priorities, and drive process improvement and automation initiatives effectively.
This position follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring presence at the Austin, TX office 2 days per week.
